GANG
Gang
Gang
Gang
But not that stupid,
Wanna be,
Gangster stuff,
Which I succumb too,
But a gang of mutually helpful people,
I don’t give a fuck about ones origins,
Or what happened to them in the past,
What they stand for now,
Is what I value,
A no Bullshit kind of attitude,
Not one defined by a fearful insecurity,
Making them compensate by behaving in ways,
Overtly and pretentiously stern,
I see through that bullshit,
Though,
If you are insecure,
And live you life,
Not running away from this,
Facing it head on,
And representing the person that you are,
This is admirable for me,
I wish to grow with these people,
And see them develop,
I believe confrontation is essential,
But I also believe,
Most confrontation is an encounter of egos,
Which are founded in compensatory behaviors derived by insecurity,
And so,
Mostly,
Confrontation,
Is unnecessary,
If one is firmly planted in their own understanding,
Of the futility of most egoic battles,
Indeed,
It’s a battle of the heart that must take place,
And through the friction of the hearts,
There is a polishing,
Which takes place,
Whereas with ego,
It can only get bigger,
No matter,
Big egos are fine,
I have one,
You know,
Just preferably not in my friendships,
So yes,
Gang,
Gang,
I’ll say it till I die,
I love my life,
And my people,
The people make my life in many ways.
Do it right,
Let’s make music,
Let’s make art,
Let’s be dripped down,
Let’s be pretty and good-looking,
Let’s change the world,
As we already are.
Gang,
Gang,
For real,
I trust that I have all the qualities needed to lead,
And inspire,
No doubt about that,
I’m legit,
A king,
Like violet is my color,
And my voice is my power,
My life,
Is an example,
A kindness,
A courage,
A determination,
A thoughtfulness,
An unrelenting swag.
Thanks.
